Project led by CHRC researchers among the 10 winning projects of the EU GREEN Alliance call
The "aBREAK4you" project is among the 10 winning projects of the call “Procedure to Leverage Joint Research Activities”, organized by the EU GREEN Alliance. The project is led by several members of the CHRC, including Ana Morais (PI), Gabriela Almeida (local coordinator), Ana Catarina Sousa (member of WP8) and João Nabais (Local leader of WP8 at the University of Évora).
This Grant came from a EU Green Alliance initiative, which was designed to promote research collaboration between the nine universities inside this Alliance. These initiatives aim to promote cross-border collaboration and strengthen scientific partnerships that contribute to sustainable development.
This project aims to evaluate the impact of psychoeducational interventions focused on relaxation techniques on students' self-perceived general health and well-being indicators, evaluate how these sessions influence the experience of physical and mental relaxation and finally, establish a sustainable, long-term intervention program that ensures continuity and ongoing positive effects on students' health and well-being. The project is ongoing since the beginning of 2025 and will have as funding the amount of €19,940.
