Ana Rita Henriques

I hold a degree in Marine Biology and Biotechnology from the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology of the Instituto Politécnico de Leiria, and a Master in Biostatistics from the Faculty of Sciences of the Universidade de Lisboa. Recently, I’ve concluded a Post-Graduation in Information Analysis and Management at NOVA Information Management School of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In February 2020 I’ve joined the Epidemiology of Chronic Diseases Unit (EpiDoC Unit) at the Chronic Diseases Research Centre (CEDOC) of the Nova Medical School of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. As a junior biostatistician, my main role at EpiDoC Unit is to provide statistical support to researchers. So far, I’ve published two papers in peer-reviewed journals (doi:10.1016/j.jns.2020.117292; doi: 10.3389/fpubh.2021.689919).
