Mafalda Proença Portugal

Integrated Master Degree in Medicine from Universidade de Coimbra (2017), with a Master Degree in Primary Health care from the University of Porto (2023), and currently enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Medicine at NOVA Medical School. She is a General and Family Assistant Affiliated Assistant at NOVA Medical School amd a General and Family Medicine Physician at the Amadora-Sintra Local Health Unit. She is interested in the areas of Medical and Health Sciences with an emphasis on General and Family Medicine, including research on patient-centred care, health services and equity and validation of digital health tools in healthcare. She has been an active researcher in primary care, particularly regarding the topic of patient Decision Aids.
