Maria João Marques

Researcher at National School of Public Health, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, with a PhD in Global Public Health and a MSc in Aging and Health. Co-coordinator of the NOVA Ageing Group and member of the Portuguese National Mental Health Policies Coordination. She has extensive experience in international and national projects, with a focus on health promotion of groups experiencing vulnerabilities, mental health, access to health services, as well as the development and evaluation of interventions and policies, through implementation science, mixed-methods and community-based participatory approaches. Member of the INTERDEM network and the Portuguese Society of Family Therapy (SPTF).
