Biography
I'm researcher at NOVA National School of Public Health, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (ENSP-UNL). I have a PhD in International Health and a Master Degree in Community Psychology. I have been working as researcher in several national and international projects combining quantitative and qualitative methods, community-based participatory research and implementation research approaches to investigate health of vulnerable populations, such as migrant groups. My main fields of research have been public health, health promotion and disease prevention, access and use of health services for prevention, diagnosis and care. I have published over 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored book chapters and books.
