António Sebastião Rodrigues

António Sebastião Rodrigues is an Associate Professor with Aggregation and PI in the Drug Response and Resistance group. His interests include the molecular mechanisms associated with resistance to therapeutic agents in cancer, in particular epigenetic mechanisms and microRNAs. These mechanisms may identify biomarkers of resistance in individuals undergoing chemotherapy. Currently he is applying nanopore sequencing to understand structural variants and epigenetic signatures in cancer.
