PhD in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton and Assistant Professor at Escola Superior de Saúde/Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. Research interests mainly focused on implementation science, collaborative research and patient-centered research in musculoskeletal care. Member of the research team of funded projects, such as SPLIT (Stratified primary care for low back pain), SARA (SPLIT application for remote rehabilitation), SHARE (Health and humanities working together) and MyBack (Effectiveness and implementation of a personalised self-management programme to prevent recurrence and disability in patients with low back pain).
