David Lopes

I am a junior biostatistitian with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Biostatistics from the Faculty of Sciences of the Lisbon University. The work of my thesis resulted in the publication of an article titled: Effects of antidepressants in the reproduction of aquatic organisms: a meta-analysis. I started working in 2020 with the Epidemiology of Chronic Diseases Unit (EpiDoC Unit) at the Chronic Diseases Research Centre (CEDOC) as a research assistant providing statistical support to researchers. Since then, I have concluded a Post-Graduation in Information Analysis and Management, published another article regarding SARS-CoV-2 prevalence and mental health (doi:10.3389/fpubh.2021.689919) and have been conducting statistical analysis and collaborating in other medical research projects which will result in more publications.
