Professor at the School of Nursing of the University of Évora. Doctor in Sociology (Health). Areas of expertise: Health Sciences and Sociology. Most recent projects included the ARC0 project financed by Portugal 2020 (2020-2023) and the ESACA project (2016-2020), funded by the EU and Alentejo 2020, which she was the principal investigator. Author of several articles, books, and book chapters. Coordinated several courses and academic management bodies.
