I'm a hospital specialist pharmacist with a passion for medication safety and risk management in medicines administration. With a focus on on maximizing cost-effectiveness of therapies, while ensuring the safe profile and effective use of medicines, I am dedicated to assessing and managing risks associated with medications to enhance patient outcomes. My involvement as a member of the scientific committee of the Pharmacovigilance Unit of the Algarve and Alentejo reflects my commitment to vigilantly monitoring and analyzing adverse drug reactions, contributing to the continuous improvement of medication safety practices. I am driven by a deep-seated passion for promoting the rational utilization of medicines and public health, advocating for evidence-based approaches to healthcare that prioritize patient well-being and optimize health outcomes. Currently, I am pursuing doctoral studies in "Doutoramento em Ciências e Tecnologias da Saúde e Bem-Estar" of Évora and NOVA Medical School, furthering my expertise in medication safety and contributing to the advancement of healthcare knowledge.
