PhD in Nursing in 2024 from the Portuguese Catholic University of Lisbon, Master’s degree in nursing sciences in 2014 from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Specialist in Medical-Surgical Nursing in 2012 from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal, Degree in Nursing in 2004 from the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal and Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 1998 from the Francisco Gentil School of Nursing - Lisbon. 
Associate Professor at the School of Health, Setúbal Polytechnic Institute. 
Member of the Scientific Council of the School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. 
Member of the Pedagogical Council of the School of Health of the Setúbal Polytechnic Institute. 
Coordinator of international mobility in the Nursing department of the ESS of the Setúbal Polytechnic Institute. Published 14 articles in specialised journals. Has 13 book chapters and 1 book.
