Moreira, José Manuel Afonso is Assistant Professor at the Nursing Department-University of Évora. Member of the Assembly of the Nursing School São João de Deus (ESESJD). Director of the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (2025-2027) at the ESESJD-University of Évora. PhD in Public Health (Specialisation in Management and Health Policies) at National School of Public Health-NOVA University of Lisbon, Master's in Nursing and Specialisation in Rehabilitation from the University of Évora. Clinical experience of specialised rehabilitation nursing care, in reputable Clinical Centres. Research in the following areas: Rehabilitation programmes; Health-related quality of Life; Cardiac rehabilitation; Patient-Reported Outcomes Measures; Organisational management; Health indicators and health policies; Ageing. Publication of several articles with an impact factor, and organisation of several scientific events in the areas described. Supervisor and jury member of several MSc dissertations. Received 2 awards and/or honours. Participates as Investigator in several projects.
