Psychiatrist, with competence in Geriatrics and a special interest in Old Age Psychiatry. Professor at NOVA Medical School, where he currently coordinates the Medical Psychology and Behavioral Medicine curricular unit (Integrated Master Degree in Medicine). Group leader at CHRC/CEDOC. Member of the INTERDEM network, the Portuguese Society of Family Therapy (SPTF), GEECD and the Section of Geriatric Psychiatry of the Portuguese Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health.
