She exercises the functions of Visiting Assistant Professor at the Curricular Unit Medical and Surgical Specialties II of Orthopedics, at NOVA Medical School | Faculty of Medical Sciences, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, since September 15, 2021 She served as Guest Assistant in the Curricular Unit Medical and Surgical Specialties II of Orthopedics, at NOVA Medical School | Faculty of Medical Sciences, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, on a part-time basis (40%) since April 24, 2008 and on time partial (15%) from December 1, 2014 to 2021, in a permanent employment contract in public functions. She is part of another research group: GEPED-Pé Diabético (Coordinator – Dr. Rui Carvalho), part of the Portuguese Society of Diabetology (SPD). She was President of the Portuguese Society of Foot Medicine and Surgery (SPMCP) 2013-2017, elected by its governing bodies unanimously. She was Vice President of the Portuguese Society of Foot Medicine and Surgery (SPMCP) in 2007-2013, elected by its governing bodies unanimously.
