Mélanie R. Maia

Mélanie R. Maia, PhD, is Doctor of Global Studies - Global Health (2022, NOVA School of Social Sciences and Humanities, UNL). Master degrees in Biological Engineering (2008, University of Minho) and in Hygiene and Safety at Work (2013, NOVA School of Science and Technology, UNL). 
With wide industry and research experience (>10 yrs), Mélanie focus is on Global Digital Health and Implementation Science. She is collaborating in several ongoing national and international projects, digital health-related, mainly in the scope of patients safety and professionals’ health and capacity strengthening (VigSaúde Brasil (2023), eHospital4Future (2023), MEAOW@solarUV (2023), Smart_Decision@Crisis (2022), PHIRI (2022), Kerasites Project (2022), METHIS Goal-oriented Care (2018).
