Paulo Paixão

Medical doctor, clinical pathologist, microbiologist. He is assistant professor of Microbiology at NMS. He is currently the coordinator of the mobility programs and of the task force for COVID-19 at NMS. Director of the Clinical Pathology Laboratory of the Hospital da Luz. President of the Portuguese Society for Clinical Virology (2009-2022). Vice-president of the European Society for Clinical Virology (2010-2016), currently member of the council.
