Coordinator of the Master’s in Public Health and the International Course on Quality in Patient Health and Safety (a partnership between ENSP and Sérgio Arouca from Fiocruz, Rio de Janeiro). Coordinator of the WHO Collaborating Center for Education, Research and Evaluation of Safety and Quality in Healthcare. Areas of academic interest are Health Policies and Systems, Global Health, Quality Assessment and Improvement in Health and Patient Safety, Risk-Adjusted Health Outcomes Evaluation (outcomes research) and cardiovascular diseases.
