Pedro Amaro

Pedro Amaro began his academic journey at the Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre, School of Health, where he completed his Bachelor's in Nursing in 2000. The following year, in 2001, he finished his Degree in Nursing at the same institution. He completed his Master's in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing in 2016 at the University of Évora, School of Nursing of São João de Deus. Continuing his professional development, since September 2021, he has been attending the Doctorate program in Health Sciences and Technologies, specializing in Nursing, at the University of Évora, Institute for Research and Advanced Training.

Currently, he is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre - School of Health. He serves as a Supervising Nurse at the Hospitaller Sisters and also holds the responsibilities of Director of Nursing at the same institution. In the field of research, he is currently dedicated to studying mental health and also participates in the research group "Mental Health Of University Students: Multicenter Research Study".
