Pedro Carreiro-Martins

Graduated in Medicine in 1998 from NOVA Medical School, took Pedagogical Aptitude and Scientific Capacity Tests in Pathophysiology in 2009, completed a Doctorate in Medicine in 2012, and in 2021 took Aggregation tests (Universidade Nova de Lisbon, NOVA Medical School). Pedro Carreiro Martins is also a Graduate Assistant at the CHULC, specialist in Immunoallergology. He published several articles in specialized journals, and book chapters. Received several awards. He is currently the Vice-President of the Portuguese Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, member of the Board of Directors of the College of Immunoallergology of the Portuguese Medical Association and Editor-in-Chief of the European Annals of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. His areas of interest and research are respiratory diseases and the impact of pollution on the airways.
