Rita Payan Carreira

Rita Maria Payan Martins Pinto Carreira completed the Título de Agregado (Habilitation) in 2008 by Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD); her PhD in the field of Animal Reproduction, was granted in 2000 by UTAD. Rita is a Full Professor at the Universidade de Évora, since july 2018; after having worked at UTAD for more than 30 years. Her field of interest respects the molecular mechanisms underlying fertility, in particular the embryo-maternal interaction. She has multiple publications as book chapters and full papers in internationally respected journals.
