Rômulo Paes de Sousa

Romulo Paes de Sousa, MD, PhD in Epidemiology (London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine), is Senior Investigator at Fiocruz (Brazil), Honorary Associate at the Institute of Development Studies (UK) and Vice-President of the Brazilian Association of Collective Health. He was the Director of the UNDP World Centre for Sustainable Development and served as Deputy Minister of Social Development of Brazil (MDS) and as National Secretary of Evaluation and Information Management at MDS. His areas of interest are sustainable development, poverty eradication and health inequality.
