Biography
Obtained the Higher Education Specialist Degree, Nursing area, in November 2022. Post-Degree Course in Rehabilitation Nursing in 2012, from the Escola Superior de Enfermagem S. Francisco das Misericórdias. Postgraduate course in Oncology Nursing in 2005, from the Francisco Gentil School of Nursing. Graduation with Additional Training in 2000 from Escola Superior de Enfermagem Francisco Gentil and Bachelor's degree in 1999, from the same School. She worked as a level 8 nurse at SAMS Hospital, from 2000 to 2020 in the Surgery Department and from 2020 to 2023 in the Special Examinations Unit and from 2023 to 2024 in the Anesthesia Nursing Consultation. Currently working as a Guest Adjunct Professor at the Escola Superior de Saúde do Instituo Politécnico de Beja. Obtained Certification of differentiated skills in Clinical Supervision and Nursing in Endoscopy by the Order of Nurses. She published two books, one of which is already in its 4th Edition. Coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Perioperative Nursing in 2012, at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem S. Francisco das Misericórdias. Coordinator of Postgraduate Nursing in Digestive Endoscopy in 2022 and 2023, accredited by the Order of Nurses, at the Escola Superior de Enfermagem S. Francisco das Misericórdias. In both courses, also responsible for the design and management of the Curricular Plan. Admitted in 2023/2024 to the PhD in Science, Technology and Wellbeing at the National School of Public Health/Universidade Nova and University of Évora.
