3rd CHRC Annual Summit happened on November 3 and 4, 2022
The 3rd edition of the CHRC Annual Summit took place on the 3rd and 4th of November at the MMM Auditorium of NOVA Medical School and brought two days of conferences with several renowned national and international specialists as speakers, as well a opening space for our researchers to present their work and projects, for socializing, poster presentations and lots of networking!
On November 3rd, the event started with the presentation of PhD students with PhD grants from CHRC and went on to the first Hot Topic of the day, with Nick Stergiou who presented the theme of Human Movement Variability.
In the afternoon, Professors Helena Canhão (Coordinator of CHRC and Director of NMS) and Sónia Dias (Director of ENSP-NOVA) held the official opening of the 3rd CHRC Annual Summit, which continued on to the remaining Hot Topics of the day, with Pedro Oliveira with the theme Innovation in Health and with Joana Lobo Antunes, a national reference in Science Communication.
At the end of the first day, CHRC offered to our members a screening of short films whose theme involves health and ended with a fantastic musical performance by the Tuna Médica de Lisboa. The day only ended after the dinner of the 3rd CHRC Annual Summit, where it was possible to know better our speakers and colleagues, allowing us to do networking with everyone present.
On the second day of the event, in addition to the Hot Topics in the program presented by Susan Michie and Robert West (translation of knowledge for public policies) and Jeremy Grimshaw (from the area of Implementation Science), an important space was opened in the program for the participation of our members. We had oral presentations, presentation of the 2020/2021 “ongoing” projects funded by the CHRC and the Award Ceremony of the CHRC Research Grants 2022. The 8 selected projects that will receive funding from the CHRC in the amount of €20,000 each are:

This is the end of another CHRC Annual Summit, which we will remember it as a new and wonderful experience thanks to our members, speakers and organizing committee. A new date for the next edition will be announced shortly.
