CHRC joins the associated laboratory REAL, coordinated by Helena Canhão
A new important milestone for CHRC has happened this week. The inaugural meeting of the associated laboratory REAL was held, which brought together CHRC, NOVA Medical School, GHTM of the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (IHMT) of NOVA University and Laboratory for Instrumentation, Biomedical Engineering and Radiation Physics (LIBPhys) of University of Coimbra, NOVA University of Lisbon and University of Lisbon,
"REAL is committed to stimulating a research of excellency and new discoveries - vaccines, health literacy tools, biomarkers (digital, genetic, serological) and new treatments - and to successfully identify technology transfer opportunities aligned with societal and public policies, promoting collaborations between academia, private and public institutions" – said Helena Canhão, DEAN of NOVA Medical School and CHRC coordinator.
Representatives from all partner institutions were present at the meeting, including Helena Canhão, Patrícia Calado, Pedro Póvoa, Rute Dinis de Sousa (NMS - UNL), Julian Perelman (ENSP - UNL), Armando Raimundo (UÉ), Ana Paula Arez, Marcelo Urbano, Rosario Oliveira Martins (IHMT - UNL), José Paulo Santos (FCT - UNL), António Mota (FMD-UL) and Ana Londral (VOH CoLAB).
