CHRC projects at the Summer School dedicated to the area of aging and health research

The event was organized in partnership between the University of Évora (School of Nursing São João de Deus and School of Health and Human Development) and the Municipality of Évora, with the support of CHRC.

The opening ceremony brought together the speeches of Manuel Lopes (ESESJD and from the Board of Directors of CHRC), Célia Antunes (ESDH), vice-rector Ana Paula Canavarro and vice-president of Évora City Council, Alexandre Varela.

The purpose of this event was to make the community aware of the multiple existing research projects within the area of health and ageing. This event had a massive participation of CHRC research projects from both the School of Nursing of São João de Deus and School of Health and Human Development, related to prevention, medication, exercise and physical practice advice, addiction, mental health promotion, caregivers, etc.

This exhibition also intended to show that most of the projects present at the event demonstrate a very concrete focus on solving health problems within the community and that research and researchers are the key contributors through their work to finding these same solutions and answers to the general community.
