José Alberto Parraça elected President of the International Human Motricity Network

At the XVI International Human Motricity Congress Desarrollo Sostenible, Innovación, Salud y Motricidad Humana that took place at the Universidad Católica del Maula, in Chile, the CHRC and ESDH-UÉvora researcher, José Alberto Parraça, was elected the President of the International Human Motricity Network.

The International Human Motricity Network is a global network of universities dedicated to research in Human Motricity. One of the its main goals is to leverage and boost the production, dissemination and encouragement for scientific research within the areas of health, human motricity and education.

The leadership of José Alberto Parraça will seek the promotion and international cooperation between people and higher education institutions, with regard to research and innovation in Human Motricity, promoting greater adhesion of Universities around the world and consequently bring researchers and their research to this network.

“This election and assuming this position is extremely important, I think even at a national level, and as a global network, I consider it a great honor for the fact that this leadership was handed over to Portugal and to the University of Évora.” – said José Parraça

The researcher of CHRC and ESDH-UÉvora also promised to make every effort to try to bring  an edition of the International Congress for Portugal during his mandate.
