Manuel Lopes elected as new member of SIGMA XI

Manuel Lopes, member of the CHRC Board of Directors and Director of the School of Nursing of São João de Deus at the University of Évora, was constituted as a new member of SIGMA XI, better known as “The Scientific Research Honor Society”, translated into a international scientific society focused on the evolution of scientific research and education in all areas of knowledge.

This renowned international society aims to collaborate between scientists from different areas of research, so that a network is created for sharing ideas and information between researchers from the most diverse areas, thus creating space for an excellence level in research.

Manuel Lopes, as a new member of SIGMA XI, will continue his mission of promoting excellence in research and education in the area of ​​nursing. This appointment brings Manuel Lopes the recognition through the work he has been developing through his career, whether at the University of Évora or at the CHRC. As Manuel Lopes is continually recognized for his exhaustive work in the field of Public Health and in improving healthcare and its impact on the community, he will bring outstanding contributions to this international scientific community.
