Nuno Batalha at the Projet PLAYS meeting at Constanza, Romania

CHRC researcher and deputy director of the ESDH – University of Évora, Prof. Nuno Batalha participated as project manager for the Portuguese Swimming Federation in the 1st face-to-face meeting of the PLAYS Project, which took place on the 28th and 29th of October in Constanza (Romania).

The PLAYS project - Practical Learning to Advance Youngsters in Sport - is a project funded by the European Union (ERASMUS +) and aims to encourage participation in sport and physical activity, creating and sharing at national and EU level an action plan creating a training program based on playful activities, to involve young people from 6 to 12 years old in the practice of structured exercises.

Program implementation will include physical, mental and educational dimensions – as well as educational activities to promote digital skills and environmental sustainability.
