Professor Armando Raimundo as DEAN of the School of Health and Human Development

Professor Armando Raimundo, member of the Executive Comittee of CHRC and Founder of the Sports Science area at the University of Évora, was elected DEAN of the School of Health and Human Development from University of Évora last April.

“The creation of the ESDH allows University of Évora to cement its position in terms of training, research and knowledge transfer/community extension in the area of health and human development, with implications at regional and national level. Is our wish, on an international level.

In terms of research in the health area, even if it’s inserted in basic, clinical, epidemiological, health promotion and healthy lifestyle research, or even on health services, the ESDH will always be close, although not exclusively, to the CHRC, research center evaluated as “Excellent” by the FCT in the area of health and which currently has about 67 integrated members of the University of Évora. We intend to promote multiple activities within the scope of the newly constituted Clinical Academic Center, developing synergies for the creation of a future Health Campus.” said Prof. Armando Raimundo.

CHRC is proud to see the continued growth of our members conquering important roles! We want to congratulate Professor Armando Raimundo for this new and great achievement in his professional career.
