Sónia Dias, researcher at CHRC, elected DEAN of ENSP-NOVA
Sónia Dias, Professor from ENSP-NOVA and researcher at CHRC, was elected DEAN of ENSP-NOVA last April 26.
Her work as a researcher has focused on the areas of community health, the health of vulnerable populations, health promotion, disease prevention, sexual health and health and access to health services. Sónia is coordinator of the Center for Research in Public Health, Coordinator of the NOVA Migration and Health Group of NOVA Saúde, and also a full professor at ENSP-NOVA.
Sónia is our second researcher to reach such an important position, after Prof. Helena Canhão, CHRC coordinator, took over the direction of NOVA Medical School. The CHRC could not be prouder of the excellent ability of our members to reach to such high levels.
Congratulations, Professor Sónia Dias.
