Study by CHRC researcher included in the themed collection of International Women's Day published by the Green Chemistry journal
The CHRC researcher, Ana Catarina Sousa, saw her word included in a special collection on a high impact scientific journal, with the aim to celebrate women in Science in the International Women’s Day.
Ana Catarina Sousa has been recognized for her significant contributions to green chemistry and sustainability. Her work “Sustainable pretreatment of blood samples using hydrophobic eutectic solvents to improve the detection of bisphenol A” shows an innovative research, combining exposomics and sustainable principles to enhance BPA detection. This study was selected for the "Celebrating International Women's Day 2025: Women in Green Chemistry" collection in the prestigious journal Green Chemistry.
