NOVA impACT! Challenges | 2nd Edition

Through this program, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa and Santander Universities Portugal intend to put knowledge, innovation, and creativity at the service of society and support the development of 10 innovative, easy to implement and with global impact solutions to respond to societal and environmental challenges that fit the sustainable development goals.

Over four weeks (October 11 - November 5), selected candidates will have access to workshops, expert mentoring, and University resources to develop a proof of concept/prototype, as well as a monetary prize to support the idea's implementation. We want to find solutions to socially and environmentally relevant problems, from promoting social inclusion and physical and mental well-being to reducing social inequalities and sustainably promoting economic recovery. Solutions can be very varied – including apps, websites, physical devices, or a business plan – and must be aligned with at least one of the United Nations sustainable development goals.
