Professor Sérgio Laranjo participated in the annual conference of Anadial.

Professor Sérgio Laranjo of NOVA Medical School - Faculdade de Ciências Médicas and researcher at CHRC – Comprehensive Health Research Centre participated in the annual conference of Anadial - Associação Nacional de Centros de Diálise, held on 26 May at the NOVA Medical School Carcavelos Campus. The conference was dedicated to the theme "Strategic Sustainability of Dialysis: Agenda for 2040."

As the keynote speaker in the panel "Technology for Better and More Efficient Care," Professor Laranjo discussed the role of artificial intelligence, health data, and digital innovation in addressing the current challenges of nephrology and dialysis. He emphasized that technology should complement, not replace, human care, enabling healthcare professionals to devote more time to patient care and clinical follow-up.
