Universidade de Évora hosts strategic meeting on innovation in clinical research

On April 16, the Universidade de Évora, hosted the event “CoLAB TRIALS no Alentejo: A impulsionar a colaboração na inovação em investigação clínica” bringing together researchers, companies, healthcare institutions, and regional decision-makers to discuss the future of health innovation in the region.

Organized by CoLAB TRIALS, with the support of CHRC and  Universidade de Évora, the initiative highlighted the work carried out over the past three years and encouraged dialogue among partners to foster new projects and develop talent in the field of clinical research. The program included presentations on the future of innovation, knowledge-sharing sessions among partners, and demonstrations of infrastructures supporting health research.

During the afternoon, experts addressed the role of health within the Alentejo regional strategy and took part in a panel focused on the challenges and opportunities in clinical research and healthcare services. The meeting concluded with the presentation of a strategic vision for the sector.

The session also contributed to the development of a guiding document for the region, aimed at strengthening institutional collaboration and consolidating a health innovation ecosystem in Alentejo.
