👥 Target Audience: Researchers, master’s and doctoral students, and professionals using questionnaires in the fields of Social and Health Sciences and related areas

📚 Background and Objectives

The development and validation of assessment instruments in Social and Health Sciences present several methodological and statistical challenges. Ensuring the validity and reliability of instruments, choosing appropriate statistical methods, and interpreting results rigorously are all critical to high-quality research.

This 60-minute webinar will explore the most recent developments in Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). Participants will be guided through the essential steps for conducting a professional EFA — from data preparation to factor interpretation — with a special focus on emerging paradigms that challenge traditional practices.

Attendees will gain key skills to make methodologically sound decisions, ensuring that the instruments they use accurately and validly measure the constructs under study. This will be a space for scientific dissemination, aiming to promote methodological excellence in the construction and validation of measurement scales.
